You can optimize your videos in lots of different ways, but one method that works really well is Handbrake. Handbrake makes your videos a lot smaller with very little impact on the quality. You can find out how to use Handbrake with this tutorial.
Please remove any apostrophes from file names before uploading, as these can also cause your upload to fail.
