How do I fix a 'mixed content'/'some insecure items' warning?

After installing a free SSL certificate from your control panel, it can take up to 30 minutes for our system to complete the installation and propagate the changes. During this time you may see a mixed content error.

If the error is still showing after half an hour, this means that there's content on your page (e.g. links or images) that are being loaded using http:// URLs rather than https://. For a webpage to be classed as secure, all content must be loaded over HTTPS, including external images, JavaScript and CSS.

To fix this, you need to search the source code of your website to locate the 'http://' references and update or remove them. If you need help doing this, please contact our support team who will be able to speed up the process. Once all references on your website are called using https:// URLs, your site will load securely in browsers.
