To transfer a non .uk domain:

1. Log into your Fasthosts control panel
2. Select “Domain Names” from the Hosting & Domains Menu
3. Select the domain you wish to transfer 
4. In the “Contacts & Ownership” section, select “Transfer Out”
5. Unlock your domain when prompted, this will allow your domain to be transferred
6. If the system asks for a reason you’re transferring away, select “I do not wish to disclose” (or if you’re comfortable doing so, any of the other options!)
7. Select “Continue to transfer out”
8. Select the reveal icon (an eye next to the hidden field) and make sure to take note of the authorisation code that is shown - You’ll need this for the next steps!
9. Visit https://hub.lyricalhost.com/cart.php?a=add&domain=transfer and enter your domain name and authorisation code
10. You’ll be charged the equivalent of one year’s renewal of the domain as we’ll need to do so during transfer, but don’t worry! You’ll get the extra year on top of the expiry date, and you won’t lose any time left on the domain.

To transfer a .uk domain:

1. Log into your Fasthosts control panel
2. Select “Domain Names” from the Hosting & Domains Menu
3. Select the domain you wish to transfer 
4. In the “Contacts & Ownership” section, select “Transfer Out”
5. If the system asks for a reason you’re transferring away, select “I do not wish to disclose” (or if you’re comfortable doing so, any of the other options!)
6. Select “I still want to transfer out”
7. Change the IPS tag to STACK
8. Visit https://hub.lyricalhost.com/cart.php?a=add&domain=transfer and enter your domain name (you don’t need an authorisation code for .uk domains!)
9. Your domain transfer will occur in the next 24 hours - You’ll be charged the equivalent of one year’s renewal of the domain as we’ll need to do so during transfer, but you’ll get the extra year on top of the expiry date, and you won’t lose any time left on the domain.
