How do I send and receive emails using my you@yourdomain.com email address via my personal Gmail address

In order to set up you personal Gmail account to be able to receive emails from your you@yourdomain.com email address, you'll need to follow these steps:

  1. In Gmail, go to Settings > Accounts and Import.
  2. Under Check mail from other accounts, click Add a mail account.
  3. Enter the following details:

    Username: Your full you@yourdomain.com email address
    Password: The password for that email account
    POP Server: pop3.yourdomain.com
    Port: 995 (make sure the "Always use SSL..." option is selected)

  4. Click Add Account

To be able to send emails as your you@yourdomain.com email address from your Gmail account, you'll need to follow these steps:

  1. In Gmail, go to Settings > Accounts and Import.
  2. Under Send mail as, click Add another email address.
  3. Enter the email address and click Next Step.
  4. Enter the following details:

    Username: Your full you@yourdomain.com email address
    Password: The password for that email account
    SMTP Server: smtp.yourdomain.com
    Port: 465 (make sure the SSL option is selected)

  5. Click Add Account.
  6. Wait for the email with the confirmation code, click the confirmation link, or enter the code and click Verify.
